We’re back, and it’s all about the blondes!
(Well, technically, Blacklight Care & Styling can be used on all natural, colour-treated, highlighted or balayaged hair!) BUT it was developed with us blondies in mind!

What are Amino Acids?
Amino acids form coiled chains in various combinations. These combinations determine the type of protein that is produced.
While one combination can form keratin, another combination contributes to the Cell Membrane Complex.
The CMC (Cell Membrane Complex) is located between the layers of the cuticle sheaths.
This membrane facilitates optimal moisture flow while serving as a protective barrier, and it plays a crucial role in retaining colour molecules.
Blacklight includes the 11 amino acids that are essential for the structure of the CMC.
What do the 11 Amino Acids do?

Ok, so there’s always a constant debate between us stylists whether Sulphates are good or bad for the hair, and we’re not about to start an argument or fuel the debate, so here are the facts…
To Sulphate or not to Sulphate!
Some sulphates, though not all, can strip the natural oils from the skin and scalp, potentially leading to irritation. While many clients may not be sensitive to sulphates or particularly concerned about them, there are others who are. Since Blacklight Care & Styling products are sulphate-free, they can attract a broader range of clients by providing gentler hair care without compromising on quality!
Got Salt?!
Additionally, when shampoos contain salt and aren’t rinsed out thoroughly, they can lead to dryness in both the hair and scalp, which can cause colour to fade more quickly and the hair to feel brittle. Blacklight Care & Styling is salt-free and benefits the hair by maintaining moisture, protecting colour and promoting a healthier scalp.
Paraben Lowdown…
Parabens are synthetic preservatives found in many haircare products to prevent the growth of bacteria, mould, and yeast, therefore extending their shelf life; however, some clients can be sensitive or even allergic to parabens. Blacklight Care & Styling doesn’t contain Parabens, so it’s better for the environment and gentle on sensitive skin, the hair and scalp.
